The middle

Where they agree

  • Both name property insurance. Fine: "LOWER insurance rates and hold insurance companies accountable."2 Yonce: "Stabilize insurance through resilience investments and federal reinsurance."4
  • Both say they'd protect Social Security and Medicare. Fine: "PROTECT Social Security and Medicare."2 Yonce: "Protect benefits while modernizing systems and cracking down on fraud."4

Where they really split

  • Guns: Fine would "DEFEND the right to life and the ability to defend it via the Second Amendment."2 Yonce would "Require safety training and competency standards for new purchases."4
  • Immigration: Fine: "SECURE our borders."2 Yonce: "Create clear pathways to citizenship through lasting bipartisan reform."4
  • Abortion: Fine lists "the right to life."2 Yonce: "Protect reproductive freedom and personal medical privacy."4

What each one leaves out

  • Fine's Home page lists eight priorities in one line each and says how on none of them; his site has no issues page. His About page lists Florida House work such as "securing hundreds of millions of dollars," but it doesn't tie any of it to a priority.2, 3
  • Yonce names a policy on six of eleven issues but spells out how on none, and gives no costs, numbers or dates.4
  • Parrott's site has no issues content, so voters can't compare him on any issue.6
